Questions You Should be Asking the World Around You
Interesting talk going around. If you’ve checked out Ron Paul’s latest video, he mentions an article by FT dot com. In the article it mentions that the Saudis couldn’t get over the US invasion of Iraq, and how a Shia majority that emerged in the aftermath pissed them off righteously.
The Hosni Mubarak “incident” was apparently a thorny issue as well and Riyadh accused Obama of betrayal.
The article seems to imply that “ISIS jihadism” was a small matter compared to the “insult” America made to the Sauds, and that the “DAESH” was the Saudi response to America’s support for the “DAWA” (The Iran aligned Shia majority in Iraq). This was what the late Prince Saud al-Faisal, former Saudi foreign minister said to John Kerry.
The article also mentions that there is a power struggle between King Salman and his 30 yr old son. It was this 30 yr old son who rejected the Oil output freeze deal in Qatar just last week.
If you want to read the article for yourself, just search for “FT dot com, Saudi admits to creating ISIS.” Or you can read the Zerohedge article which explains it with a lot more detail. This 28 page fiasco is just the tip of the iceberg.
Warm welcome! This is more than an exploration. Discovery of new ideas and new ways of being.
