Questions You Should be Asking the World Around You
It used to be a worrying trend. The kind of news that grabbed the most attention in the last several years either had to be ironic, pointed in the general direction of ironic, or it had to at least compel people to comment ironically.
I’m reminded of the song from 1980: “Jumping Someone Else’s Train,” by The Cure.
It’s the latest wave
That you’ve been craving for
The old ideal
Was getting such a bore
Now you’re back in line
Going not quite as far
But in half the time
They’re finally all the same
’cause everyone’s jumping
Everybody else’s train
It would be funny if it wasn’t so serious. Let’s go by the image up above.
First, Democrats voted for a criminal. Bernie Sanders, the guy who would have worked to get the average man a higher minimum wage, thus enabling Americans to purchase more things; to give businesses more money, they voted no. They feared the thought of giving poor Americans “welfare,” and voted instead for Hillary. Here’s an article from 2014
Newly discovered audio recordings of Hillary Clinton from the early 1980s include the former first lady’s frank and detailed assessment of the most significant criminal case of her legal career: defending a man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.
In 1975, the same year she married Bill, Hillary Clinton agreed to serve as the court-appointed attorney for Thomas Alfred Taylor, a 41-year-old accused of raping the child after luring her into a car.
The recordings, which date from 1983-1987 and have never before been reported, include Clinton’s suggestion that she knew Taylor was guilty at the time. She says she used a legal technicality to plead her client, who faced 30 years to life in prison, down to a lesser charge. The recording and transcript, along with court documents pertaining to the case, are embedded below.

A monumentally poor choice for a candidate because you know, she’s dirty through and through.
The next one is not as bad. It’s a bit more humorous, and it reinforces a very old and very traditional belief that: everyone needs to read the damned manual.
…travelling in a group and were on their way from Dasht-e-Archi to Kunduz city when the incident took place earlier today.
MoI in its statement further added that the group belonged to Mullah Wali who is a commander of the Taliban group.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the report so far.
It’s a funny read. I got these straight from Reddit.

The last one is about a British MP who posted a graphic that said “Israeli Jews should be ‘relocated’ to America.”
The post suggested the financial cost of deporting Israelis would be “less than 3 years of defense spending” – the “$3bn dollars” the US “spends per year on Israeli defense”.
Ms Shah added that the plan would “save them some pocket money“.
I’m not even sure if this was a serious article, or if it was ripped from a place like the Onion, but American politicians aren’t ready for that! They’re not ready for that! If she had spent 5 minutes watching American foreign policy, she would have understood that congress goes full gestapo on anything critical of Israel. It’s like she’s never watched Robocop 1, 2, or 3.
Additionally, what she said was really a quote that is often used by white ultra-nationalists. So I can’t tell if she was just trying to be clever with the double entendres, or if I was really just reading an article ripped off from the Onion.
