Questions You Should be Asking the World Around You
There appears to be a significant amount of interest on Infowars and The Young Turks. A Follow up to yesterday’s post, because it wouldn’t be fair to say, so and so is busted, without going back and revisiting the issue, to give it an updated assessment.
I was surprised to see how many return visitors I had. I didn’t know that Infowars and TYT were so popular.
Alright, so yesterday I said that TYT didn’t make any special videos on the DNC leaks. I didn’t get too much into it but here’s what I said:
TYT Youtube channel above. Zero coverage of Wikileaks. Considering the amount of time they’ve invested in Bernie Sanders, Wikileaks should have been given top priority. After all, if Hillary gets the boot, Sanders can step in and take the nomination. Their coverage of the DNC leaks makes it clear they’ve given up on Sanders completely.
At first I was confused, but just below that layer of confusion, I was a bit furious. I know I don’t have a right to be furious at TYT because:
It turns out that I was actually wrong about TYT, and that they haven’t given up on Sanders. If you check out TYT’s Youtube channel, Cenk followed up on the DNC leaks on the same day, and there’s actually a big Sanders following at TYT. So that’s a good thing.
I also did a bit of poking around and discovered that TYT actually did cover the DNC leaks earlier, but it was buried in a subsection on Youtube called TYT Politics. How many channels does TYT have, holy shit!
Anyways, TYT did cover the DNC leaks, just to clear the record. I went back and checked, just to follow up on it. I’ll be updating yesterday’s post with a link to this one, just so that if anybody reads one without reading the other, they’ll know what I was talking about.
Another point I’d like to make is, I wrote this follow up because there are very few people whom I consider to be good. By that I mean, people who have a lot of good qualities, and are genuinely looking out for others. I’m not sure if it’s my faith in Jesus or if I’m just not conditioned to be very mean, but it’s the nice people that I put extra effort into, to not just bash them and leave it at that. It would have been unfair. Cenk Uygur is good people, and I’m reminded of Sgt. Slaughter saying:
We all go home or nobody goes home. I’m gonna go dig up my VHS copy of GI Joe: The Movie now.
Always check back to see if everything’s proper. Always check back to see if everything’s proper.
