Questions You Should be Asking the World Around You

China Has a Really Great Opportunity to Show Some Leadership in Asia Right Now

And I’m not even kidding. It’s a blessing in disguise, but some things are being misinterpreted. Over here, our mainstream news can’t stop talking about North Korea.

You know? About the missile tests, the subs, the tweets, the sanctions! If you haven’t been keeping up, here’s a quick summary.

North Korea, and China belong to one side. Japan, and South Korea are on another.

Taiwan and China are not friendly with each other.

Hong Kong is a region in China, but the Cantonese are not friendly with the Chinese, (that’s because Hong Kong used to be a British colony).

It’s a big clusterfuck over there in Asia, and we haven’t even gotten to Vietnam and the Philippines yet.

Now very recently, North Korea has been poking the eagle with missile tests. The pentagon says they’re intercontinental ballistic nukes. Russia says they’re medium ranged missiles. All those missiles so far have not displayed the ranged capabilities of actual ICBMs. However, North Korea’s actions imply that they have ICBM’s in their arsenal, or that they are fast on their way to perfecting them.

South Korea deems these tests to be very provocative and that’s why we have the South Korean people freaking out. Some of those missiles were aimed at the Sea of Japan, and so that’s got the Japanese bothered. The US is of course allied with S.Korea and Japan, and that’s why we conduct joint navy drills on their doorstep.

Now, because we have a very very corrupt mainstream media, Trump bypasses the mainstream media by tweeting his displeasure of the Chinese government directly through Twitter, (which by the way is a really good way of cutting through the fog). Our mainstream media is very very corrupt.  I’m sure North Korea gets most of their American news through CNN and that’s pretty much the worst thing anyone can do. Those tweets, however the mainstream media wants to parse it, are really blessings in disguise.

Those tweets appear very accusatory on the surface, but if the Chinese were to look really really closely, they would see a big window of opportunity to diffuse a really volatile situation.

What better way to show asian leadership than to craftily diffuse North Korean provocation? That’s the blessing. But somehow China is misinterpreting this.

From China’s point of view, they feel as if they’re being blamed for Kim Jong Un’s recklessness. China tells us that North Korea is autonomous to the point that their politics, their news, their culture, and their allegiances, are completely separate. But they still rely on China for trade?? That’s why they’re not really separated, they’re a lot more integrated than we think.

Now Russia has offered to help. You’ll remember a while back that Russia offered to boost trade with South Korea. This of course means that trade routes would have to be established, and the only way to do that would be to go through North Korea. So essentially, North Korea was offered a deal to become a transit state for Russian/South Korean trade. Whether or not this would eventually become a profitable business venture for Russia remains to be seen. At least the offer is out there.

Also, China can rest easy with the fact that Trump isn’t a continuation of the Obama administration. You know all those retarded things Obama did? You can forget about those because even Trump thinks Obama was a goof.

Several mechanisms are already in place for a resolution to be found to the North Korean issue. It juuust needs a little bit more persuasion to make it work.
