6 new free trade zones are in the works. Shangdong, Jiangsu, Guangxi, Hebei, Yunnan, and Heilongjiang. You’ll notice that they’re all provinces that are adjacent to GuangDong where Hong Kong is. This means that Hong Kong will continue to diminish as a trading hub, and six new provinces will begin to take over the role. FTZ’s are basically experimental economies where China allows things that normally wouldn’t be permitted, such as video game consoles…and shit. Commodities entering the zone are not subject to duty and customs clearance apparently. Sounds interesting.
It looks like there are also different sets of rules regarding business disputes compared to elsewhere in China. I’m guessing that things are more lenient where there are FTZ’s. This is my first time reading all of this so none of it is very clear to me yet. I’m pretty sure I understand the basics though.
Registration fees of 30,000 RMB, 100000 RMB and 5000000 RMB for setting up shop are waived inside of FTZ’s as well, making it easier for people to invest in these places.
The internet is still restricted when you are inside of FTZ’s though, which is a good thing. The biggest reason why the United States hemorrhages money from year to year is because of all the hyper liberalism, subservience to shekeleers, and Huxley’esque degeneracy. All three are intimately connected.
