Questions You Should be Asking the World Around You

There’s a Real Chance for Peace for Russia and Ukraine

I’ve never seen Vladimir Putin share his thoughts about the Ukraine with this much detail before. At least not with the international community. With the domestic audience; yes, but with the international community, this is very new.

Reading this essay, I couldn’t help but feel that Vladimir Putin is in some way extending an olive branch. I think the Ukrainian people would benefit greatly from a rapprochement with Russia.

Here’s a section of Vladimir Putin’s essay which I thought was very interesting. This was published less than 2 weeks ago and it is quite lengthy.

Ukraine and Russia have developed as a single economic system over decades and centuries. The profound cooperation we had 30 years ago is an example for the European Union to look up to. We are natural complementary economic partners. Such a close relationship can strengthen competitive advantages, increasing the potential of both countries.

Ukraine used to possess great potential, which included powerful infrastructure, gas transportation system, advanced shipbuilding, aviation, rocket and instrument engineering industries, as well as world-class scientific, design and engineering schools. Taking over this legacy and declaring independence, Ukrainian leaders promised that the Ukrainian economy would be one of the leading ones and the standard of living would be among the best in Europe.

Let me explain:

Throughout the latter half of this recent decade, the EU and the US had levied heavy sanctions to weaken Russia. But now Russia has become stronger, more resilient, leaner, and meaner.

Both the sanctions on Russia and the relentless provocations against China has pushed these two countries together more closely.

The Russian Federation is already planning ahead of time and has bypassed Ukrainian president Zelensky. Zelensky is already irrelevant when looking at the bigger picture.

Angela Merkel moved heaven and earth to secure the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Germany just secured the EU’s energy needs for the next 100 years. The German people don’t realize this yet, but they will.

Nordstream 2 bypasses Ukraine, Lithuania, and Poland. These ruling elite in these three countries can no longer jack up the transit fees and hold Europe hostage for energy. This is why the corrupt elites are panicking because Germany now holds all the cards.

The pipelines running through Poland, Ukraine, and Lithuania are old and falling apart. These three countries don’t have the money to repair these old pipelines. All they can hope for are massive loans from the IMF and the United States (which the United States is looking forward to. The IMF as well), (more loans means more debt. This means less money for the average Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Polander).

The United States is facing a ravaging 12% hyperinflation (which they won’t tell you), (it’s not 2%), (it’s also not transitory), (it’s why they pulled out of Afghanistan. No more money).

China’s economy is on track to outpace the American economy (Merkel knows this).

I think Ukraine would benefit from a rapprochement with Russia.

Here’s another section which I found very interesting.

Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians are all descendants of Ancient Rus, which was the largest state in Europe. Slavic and other tribes across the vast territory – from Ladoga, Novgorod, and Pskov to Kiev and Chernigov – were bound together by one language (which we now refer to as Old Russian), economic ties, the rule of the princes of the Rurik dynasty, and – after the baptism of Rus – the Orthodox faith. The spiritual choice made by St. Vladimir, who was both Prince of Novgorod and Grand Prince of Kiev, still largely determines our affinity today.

You know, there’s more. A lot more. It’s a very lengthy essay. Do you want to read it? You can find it here:

Yes, you are right, Putin is like that because is ex-KGB. But don’t forget that Sputnik (newspapers, radio, Tv, etc.) is Rusian’s propaganga, undercover. Money for Sputnik are from Rusian state.
I repeat, never trust news from Sputnik/Rusia because is propaganda.
The history that Russia propagates is fabricated and serves only the interests of Russia.
Don’t trust me…ask someoane from East-European country and you will find more ….

I browse the news from the European Union occasionally. Mostly news from France and Germany. Not so much from Lithuania, Poland, or Estonia.

I’ve seen many news articles from Ukraine however and they’re very dishonest. But what you say is very true however. Every nation looks out for it’s own interest and Russia is no different, which is why it’s always good to try and foster an atmosphere of reconciliation, and to try to get people with differing views to understand one another.

I think that if I compare the articles that I write here on this blog regarding Ukraine, with those written by the people who work at Unian.info, my articles are more friendly and unbiased. I have the great fortune of being free and not bound to running propaganda ordered by greed driven oligarchs like Igor Kolomoyski (which by the way was one of the people responsible for the Odessa building fire in 2014).
