Kiev’s Fake News Problem is 100x Worse Than What We Have Here

The Press Center for the Ukrainian Military denies there being tanks inside the demilitarized zone, despite of the BBC’s published video online.

With tensions in eastern Ukraine escalating over recent days, an official Kiev representative has denied the army sent tanks into the town of Avdeevka, close to the delineation line between the government troops and rebel forces.

“I’ve been in Avdeevka the whole day today [Thursday]. I have not seen a single tank, I saw one police CRV [combat reconnaissance vehicle] with large letters on it clearly saying ‘Police’,” Leonid Matyuhin, official representative of the press center for the Ukrainian military in Donbass told RIA Novosti.

This is a tweet from BBC war correspondent Tom Burridge.

 

 

Based on one of the replies to Burridge’s tweet, Kiev has been spreading propaganda that is making pro Kiev activists assume that the Minsk agreement allows for the placement of military hardware inside of the demilitarized zone.  This tweet by Serhiy Pazelsky is the one I’m referring to.

 

It looks like this guy is Anti-Trump,

This guy also seems to be a fan of fake news website The Hill.

 

He seems to like Evan Mcmullin, the guy who made a fake bid for the US presidency.

 

He also appears to be fully engrossed with fake US Democrat propaganda.

I’m thinking this Serhiy guy is a paid social media astroturfer. Kiev has a lot of those crawling around thanks to the monetary disbursements by the IMF.
